Wednesday, June 22, 2005: in a state of flux
Do you ever get the feeling you're being punished for something but you don't know what it is? You look over past experiences and you're pretty sure you didn't do anything wrong but yet you are suffering. You're being tortured, ignored, scorned for something but what could it be? An action, a inaction? Something said or something left unsaid? What do you do? Do you accept your punishment, admit your guilt and pleaded forgiveness or do you damn it all, get angry and possibly extend your torment even longer? Or do you pretend that nothing is wrong at all and suffer in silence? I know this is not my usual posting style but some things weigh heavier on the brain then others and this is the result. I'm feeling the weight of the world, and its crushing me. I'm feeling the weight, of everyday life and its crushing me. How much more, will it take? How much more until it breaks me? This world...is crushing me

Thursday, June 16, 2005: the land of the giant mouse
Eurodisney: two thumbs up! Better than my Disney experiences stateside. Why? Because no one goes to Eurodisney apparently. At least not during the week. There were no lines, no crowds, no falling children, no excessive heat. We got to go on every ride we wanted until around 730 when we were too tired to do more. We limped out of the park directly into the IMAX theatre next door and watched episode III. BTW I'm home, whee!! After a long flight and a long customs line I'm home again in my comfy home with my comfy bed. Sometime next week I'll have the photos up: stay tuned.
Saturday, June 11, 2005: bloody hell
Chip, chip cherrio blah blah blah. Landed in jolly ol' London about a day and half ago and bloody hell the exchange rate blows! Fish and chips are rather good though. Went to Parliment, saw Big Ben, hung around the Tower of London, crossed the London Bridge & got all pissed in Piccadilly Circus. Ran out of bloody pounds and won't be making it into Ireland. Taking the Chunnel back to Paris today and will possibly go down to the south of France just to hang out. See everyone in a few days. Cheers! me
Tuesday, June 07, 2005: in the dam that is amster
arrived this morning and spent most of the day sleeping. Just woke a bit ago to wander a bit. I think tomorrow we're going down to the red light district just to see what all the fuss is about. Things I've learned so far: To get booze you go to a cafe to get weed you go to a coffee shop. If you really want coffee or tea I have no idea where you would go.
Monday, June 06, 2005: but you feel alive
So cold! Back in Berlin but only for a little bit while waiting for the train to take us to Amsterdam. Goodness, I'm exhausted. Looking foward to the long train ride so I can get some sleep. OMG!! Rock Im Park: http://www.rock-im-park.com/ kicked much ass! Minus the sleeping in a tent with no sleeping bag (bestest buddy's bright idea) and practically going into hyperthermia it wasn't so bad. Highlights: Green Day, Motley Crüe, Lacuna Coil & Apocalyptica. Lowlights: Boys are nasty. Peeing, peeing every where. Eeeeeeeeww. Sleeping on the cold cold ground. Lack of non carbonated water. Would I do it again? hell yeah.
Thursday, June 02, 2005: Im lovin it
Still in Berlin and actually in the process of trying to get tickets to Rock im Park this huge ass (the biggest in all of germany) music fesitival. The main issue is that its far ass away - I mean really far and no train routes. Might have to rent a car. Hmmmm the autobahn hell yeah baby. Really diggin Berlin, so far this is my favorite city. There are internet cafes everywhere. For example Im writing this from dunkin donuts. Everything is super modern and techno savvy here. The McDonalds is 3 levels with internet, lounge, dance, music videos and cd listening stations. So fancy. Later today doing some tourism - going to Checkpoint Charlie and the Parliment Building. Another thing: Uber hot people here. Mmmmm. The bestest buddy agrees: while he tries to covince a german girl to stowaway in his bag, I need to snare me a nice hot german boy. Oh look, theres one sitting next to me right now. Wheres my guide book - need to say "I have the pants of fire" in German.
Wednesday, June 01, 2005: on the midnight train
thanks to the slumlord for fixing the website. I´ll make sure to get you something super shiny. or cheap. whichever comes first. Bracken I found your cigs is 1 pack enough? Spent about a day and a half in brussels: now full of waffles. Arrived in Berlin this morning and the train station is very nice and easy to follow oh and they sell jager in the metro. shots of jager. I´m having a jager bomb in honor of my homey critical that ain´t here on the way out. Also the people here are so friendly and helpful. Me and the bestest buddy were lost on the street and nice fellow came up to us and said in English(a 1st woohoo) do you need help? Apparently we looked pathetic and cold with our large bags and thin jackets. I told him we were looking for a hotel on Annsback and he was able to figure out my horrible german announciation and point us in the right direction. Danke!
