This is what I awoke to on Thursday morning. Yay, what a great day to go to work.

The wind was something lik 40mph. Max was blown around like a little rag doll. He did not like it.

As a smart person I wanted to go back to bed but my boss is retired navy. I live across the street so she sent a convoy to bring me in.

My deck has snow on it. My covered deck on the the south side 30 stories up has snow on it.

This is what one wears when going out to face the end. face mask, fleece hood, wool coat, layers and a prayer was my only protection.

This is the call box. I don't think anyone will be ringing any bells today.

Luckily the nice man came to shovel and a plow came by too. No such thing until waiting after the storm.

Not going anywhere for awhile? Grab a snickers.

Caked with snow.

My garage. With about a foot and half of snow in front. The 8 is staying indoors today.

Oh look no one came to work. Surprise surprise. Of my 17 employees only 3 made it. Thanks boss for a day of nothing in the office.

These bushes are just under 3 fee high. Now filled with snow.

The scene from work. Why am I here again?
